Volunteers are as much a part of the Guardian Angels communities as our residents, families, visitors and employees. We rely on the support and dedication of our volunteers to fulfill our mission to provide exceptional healthcare, housing, and supportive services to seniors and their families in the spirit of Christ’s love.
Guardian Angels offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. We want to make sure that your placement is rewarding for both you and our residents.
New volunteers must complete an application, interview, background study and New Volunteer Orientation. Orientation will include information about residents’ rights, safety procedures, privacy practices, and volunteer conduct and commitment. We provide training to make each volunteer feel comfortable and excited about volunteering.
Here are a few of the volunteer opportunities that Guardian Angels has to offer:
Student Volunteers, age 14 – 17 years old are welcome to volunteer and students younger than 14 years may volunteer with an adult.
Group, Team or Organization Volunteers, such as youth groups, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Troops, church groups, school clubs, school teams and corporate organizations are welcome to submit a group volunteer application for a one time visit. Once application is received we will contact you and help facilitate a rewarding service opportunity.
Volunteer opportunities are available at the following Guardian Angels locations;
