Yes, 1 cat or dog under 30 lbs. is allowed. We have a pet fee, and the resident is responsible for the care of the pet.

Independent Living is ideal if you (or your loved one) are generally active and manage most daily tasks on your own, but want fewer responsibilities and more connection—less shoveling, cooking, and driving, and more time for friends, activities, and hobbies.

There is a one-time, non-refundable community fee due upon reservation.

We offer a variety of layouts, including one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and two-bedroom plus den apartments. 

All apartments include a full kitchen, spacious living room, in-unit laundry, deck and ample storage space.

Yes, Utilities including heat, electric, water, garbage and recycling.  We also include Satellite TV package and complimentary Wi-Fi access.

o Yes, indoor parking is available for an additional fee.  Each apartment may have 1-parking spot.

The Reservation Fee, which will hold the Apartment up to 30 days after issuance of Certificate of Occupancy, is paid upon execution of the Reservation Agreement. The Monthly Rental Fee is the current monthly charge for occupancy of the Apartment. The Monthly Rental Fee for the first month of occupancy is due at the Monthly Rental Fee Start Date, or upon resident taking possession of the Apartment, whichever comes first. The first Monthly Rental Fee will be prorated if the Start Date is other than the 1st day of a calendar month.

Satellite TV and internet is included in the rent.  If a landline phone is requested, we have local providers that offer this service for a fee.

Yes, we have a guest room available for friends and family to rent for a fee.

All apartments feature electric stove tops.

Engel Haus features restaurant-style dining with chef-prepared meals served three times a day, seven days a week. You can enjoy meals in our dining room or stop by the café area for beverages or grab-and-go items. 

Meal packages are available for an extra fee.

Yes! We typically have at least one outing per week to visit a restaurant, go shopping, or enjoy entertainment. Residents lead where they would like to go.

With the new construction of the Independent Living community will be a new Club GA Wellness Center.  It will feature top of the line equipment from Matrix and Nu-Step.  It also has a large group fitness room for daily group fitness classes. 

Yes, we have several areas residents and families may reserve for larger gatherings at no cost.

Yes, families are welcome to dine with their loved one.

Yes, additional storage is available on the second floor for an additional fee.

You may cancel this Reservation Agreement and your reservation of the Apartment by giving us notice in writing. If you cancel this Reservation Agreement, we will refund your Reservation Fee, unless you have signed a Residency Agreement, or we receive your notice of cancellation less than 60 days prior to the Monthly Rental Fee Start Date. 

Yes, if you sign a reservation agreement before July 1st you can choose which color scheme you prefer, granite countertops and optional custom upgrades like ceiling fans and shower doors. 

Mail is located on the first floor.  We also have a secured package room for all package deliveries.
