Volunteers are very important at Guardian Angels Senior Services! It is important for potential volunteers to take time to think about working with the senior population and we want to make sure your placement is rewarding for you as well as our residents.
Volunteers are matched with the opportunity that is best suited for them and the needs of our residents. Each volunteer must complete an application stating their desired areas of volunteering and availability. Each volunteer applicant will be interviewed for open positions that meet the needs of the volunteer and Guardian Angels. If accepted as a volunteer, a New Volunteer Orientation and Background Study are required prior to volunteering. Orientation will include information on residents rights, safety procedures, privacy practices and volunteer conduct and commitment. Training is provided to make each volunteer is comfortable and excited about volunteering. Your commitment is very important and we are counting on you!
