With a history of more than 40 years of service, Guardian Angels Care Center is a faith based and highly respected provider of a full continuum of health care and housing services to seniors in the community and surrounding area.

Specialized Care
For those who require specialized care, Guardian Angels Care Center recently opened two specialty areas specifically designed to meet the needs of the clients we serve.
Transitional Care Unit
Our Transitional Care Unit includes 24 private suites designed for those individuals requiring rehabilitative or recuperative services prior to returning home.
Patients utilizing the Transitional Care Unit include those who require rehabilitation following a joint replacement or repair, as well as those who require therapy services following a cardiac event, stroke or other medical needs. Most stays in the Transitional Care Unit average 30 days or less. Patients utilizing the Transitional Care Unit include those requiring rehabilitation and ongoing skilled nursing care following joint replacement, fracture, stoke, heart attack, pneumonia and many other diagnoses.
All rooms are private suites complete with kitchenettes (including a microwave and refrigerator), private bathroom with walk in/roll in shower, cable television, telephone and Internet connectivity.

Our Memory Care Neighborhood consists of 18 private suites surrounding a large residential-style kitchen and dining room. This neighborhood was designed around the social model of care which allows residents freedom of movement within the neighborhood and the secure outside courtyard. This arrangement also allows the residents to participate in the daily activities of “running the household,” while maintaining contact with specially trained staff.
In order to make residents feel more at home, the design includes a living room, sun room and home furnishings. All suites are private, complete with kitchenettes which includes a refrigerator, private bathrooms with walk in/roll in showers, cable television and telephone connectivity.
