Guardian Angels Care Center –Elk River

(Long Term Care/Transitional Care)

Nursing Assistants     

PT Evening (25 hours per pay period) start and end times vary, includes every other weekend.

PT Evenings (20 hours per pay period) 4:30pm to 9:30pm includes every other weekend.

PT Evenings (69.5 hours per pay period) start and end times vary, includes every other weekend.

Casual Positions available to provide coverage for open shifts. Prior experience is required for casual positions. 

Qualifications for all Nursing Assistant positions include: Current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. 

 

LPN: TCU Unit

PT Evenings (32 hours per pay period) 2:30pm to 11:00pm includes every other weekend.

Qualifications include: Must be a licensed LPN in the state of MN, CPR certification is preferred.

 

RN and LPN Casual

Positions available to provide coverage for open shifts, prior experience is required for casual positions.  Qualifications include: Must be a licensed RN or LPN in the state of MN, CPR certification is preferred.

 

Nurse Unit Manager TCU Units

Two Full Time Positions Available. Responsible for ensuring the quality of care and services delivered to the clients on the assigned unit.  Performs admission assessments for residents Monday through Friday.  Works with staff to gain input into needs of clients and unit.  Participates

in on call rotation every fourth week.  Prior experience in Geriatric Nursing, knowledge of MDS and Medicare requirements and regulations.  Current MN RN license with five plus year’s prior RN experience preferred.  Three to five years prior supervisory experience preferred.

Evening Cook

PT Evening Cook (32 hours per pay period) 10:30am to 7:00pm, every Friday and every other weekend and holiday.  Previous cooking cook experience preferred.

 

Engel Haus Senior Living Community- Albertville

(Assisted Living/Memory Care and Catered Living)

Home Care Director

FT position that will coordinate budgets, services and provide guidance to our care staff.  Responsible to ensure that the health and safety of residents is met.  Responsible to ensure that staff is trained in medical policy and procedures.  Responsible to ensure that facility remains in compliance with current regulations and standards. Qualifications: Ability to maintain a quality of service that will fulfill the objectives of the Assisted Living/Memory Care facility.  Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, institutions and agencies.  Knowledgeable of Home Care requirements and regulations required.  Five to seven years experience as a RN required.  Minimum of three years in a supervisory role preferred.  Prior experience in Geriatric Nursing a plus.  Current MN RN license and CPR certification is required.  On call and some weekend and evening hours required.

Autumn Glen Senior Living Community- Coon Rapids

(Assisted Living/Memory Care and Apartment Living)

Administrator

FT position that will oversee the assisted living/memory care and independent housing.  Maintains occupancy, budgets, physical management.  Provides staff supervision and management.  Ensures federal and state compliance.  Ensures residents satisfaction and services.  Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management or related field or experience with an emphasis in aging or senior housing.  Two to five years experience in senior housing/assisted living or home care preferred.  One to three years prior supervisory experience preferred.  Knowledge of federal and state regulations.  Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Experience with Eldermark, Health Sense, Great Plains and On-Call Systems a plus.  On call and some weekend and evening hours required.

Community Outreach and Administrative Associate

FT position Monday-Friday including some evening/weekend hours as needed. Responsible for gathering information, sales, marketing events, tours, building up referral base and community relations for the facility.  Maintains client listing, assists with move-ins/move-outs, office duties, bookkeeping and managing the front desk.  Assists as needed with the coordination of referrals to other services within the system and community.  Qualifications: Three to five years prior experience in marketing/community relations, social work or related field, preferably in an assisted living, senior housing or long term care setting.  Organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.  Computer proficiency.  Strong communication and public relation skills.  Ability to collaborate with other health care professionals, institutions and agencies and develop and maintain positive relationships and a variety of referral sources.

Maintenance Supervisor

FT position that will maintain environmental conditions within the facility and perform maintenance and repair of all equipment, furniture and fixtures; maintains building exterior and grounds.  Provides staff supervision and management.  Qualifications: AA Degree or additional certification or training in maintenance ore related field preferred.  High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Three to five years prior maintenance experience preferred.  One to three years prior supervisor experience required.  Basic and mechanical knowledge of general maintenance in areas related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigerator and freezers, general building construction painting, floor care and lawn and grounds maintenance required.  Ability to be on call as required by management.  Boilers license required.

Maintenance Assistant

FT position Monday-Friday day hours includes some early evenings and on call rotation.  Duties include routine maintenance tasks and repairs, light cleaning, janitorial work and exterior building care.  Looking for someone who is detail orientated and enjoys working with seniors.  Prior maintenance experience preferred.  Boilers license preferred or ability to obtain.

 

Guardian Angels of Elk River, Inc. - Elk River

(Corporate Office)

Vice President Finance

FT position to be a member of our senior leadership team. Responsible for strategic planning, cash forecasting, capital expenditures control, investment management, designing and implementing cost and financial management information system, oversees accounting function and staff, collections etc.  Develop budgets, negotiate short and long-term financing needs, direct reimbursement reporting and assist with analyzing business expansion alternatives. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification required.  Eight to ten years of progressively responsible financial management preferably in the health care industry.  Five years plus supervisory experience.   Knowledgeable in reimbursement regulations, investment strategies and financing alternatives.

 

Staff Accountant

FT position that will process and maintain accounts receivable for multiple corporations, which will include processing client billings, generating and providing reports and other accounting duties. Qualifications include: Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.  Minimum five year’s prior work experience in an accounting environment.  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Great Plains experience preferred.  Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

 

Human Resources Assistant

FT position that will assist in a variety of HR duties to include employment processes, orientation, job descriptions, employee training, employee recognition, employment reports, OSHA recording, industry and market surveys and administrative duties.  Qualifications include: Two year post secondary education required.  Bachelor’s Degree in HR related field preferred.  Three years prior experience in a fast paced administrative role preferably in HR.  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, attention to detail ability to multi task and work independently and as a team player required.
